MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE Company: Twitch Interactive, Inc., an company Position Title: Software Development Engineer II Location: San Francisco, CA Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with other engineering and product teams in the design, development, implementation, testing and documentation of software and gaming applications, tools, systems, and services. Work with back end engineers to specify the APIs that will power application features. Implement experiments and collect data with data scientists to drive subsequent iterations on these features. Apply front end engineering best practices. Assist support team in triaging bugs, responding to user feedback, and fixing production issues. Participate in code and design reviews. Mentor junior development engineers.Position Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation. One year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation must involve: using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies; building consumer:facing web applications, with emphasis on user interface and design; utilizing modern JavaScript libraries and tooling (e.g. ES6, Ember, React, Redux); working with modern browser technologies such as, HTML5 Video, Cross:origin resource sharing policies, Caching, HTML5 APIs for DOM selection and manipulation, or performance tracking and optimization; and understanding cross:browser compatibility issues.Applicants must meet all of the above listed requirements for this position.
