We're 200 strong, we're growing fast-and we need you.**Position Summary:**The Electrical Supervisor position is primarily centered on the management of electrical equipment and rental material within the Production Department. This includes specifying, ordering, and installing electrical materials (including lighting) into the products that Group Delphi fabricates. The Electrical Supervisor position also assists in the development of interactive exhibits that involve special interfacing or control. As needed and as time permits, this position also does maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment in the shops and facility.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**1. Produce electrical prototypes and provide solutions for interactive and audiovisual integrated projects2. Assist the Lead Fabricators and Installers with installation of electrical equipment.3. Assist the Installers with receiving, inspection, and return to storage of show services and electrical equipment.4. Organize and maintain the electrical shop.5. Provide timely and accurate inventory updates of show related electrical equipment.6. Oversee the quality and accuracy of work performed within the electrical department.7. Track inventory of electrical department tools.8. Work with shop supervisors and members of the Production Management staff to maintain the flow of information on the shop floor.9. Coordinate the flow of work in the electrical department to and from other departments.10. Enforce work and safety rules within the electrical department.11. Assure that all work done in the electrical department is executed safely.12. Responsible for making sure that all products fabricated in the electrical shop are built with quality materials and that they are electrically sound.13. Ability to design, prototype, test, and fabricate electrical systems for lighting, power distribution, and control in the properties that Group Delphi produces.14. General facilities electrical maintenance - replace lamps, repair lighting fixtures, replace ballasts. Install and program lighting controls.15. Consul with designers and project managers on electrical questions.16. Assist in the installation of telephone and data cabling and equipment as necessary.17. Ability to make changes to existing electrical system in Group Delphi's facilities as needed.18. Maintain the Group Delphi quality standard.**Required knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to clearly organize all facets of the project.* Ability to schedule and execute different projects.* Ability to handle larger, more technical, more complex, or generally more demanding projects, and a commitment to successful completion of all projects to the Delphi quality standard.* Familiar with the current national electrical code.* Basic lighting design knowledge.* Excellent troubleshooting experience.* Ability to read and annotate electrical schematics/diagrams, and read CAD drawings for fabrication/assembly.* Ability to maintain a flexible schedule, as work hours may adjust as workload requires.
