This Wednesday, CLIFT San Francisco will play host to a launch party for Coaster, a new, free app for your iPhone that gives users a unique and easy way to order drinks at the bar. With the app, customers are able to order cocktails on their iPhone and receive a notification once it is ready to be picked up at the bar, eliminating any wait time! As the first and exclusive hotel to put the app into practice, CLIFT will welcome the public to join them in the Redwood Room as some of the first people to try out the new service. Coaster has even offered to buy the first drink for new users who download the app and create a profile with payment info before 6pm Wednesday!

Coaster is a mobile startup rocking out in the SOMA district of San Francisco. We built Coaster to make ordering and paying for drinks simple and fun. Here’s how it works: Check in to a Coaster venue, browse their menu and select your drink of choice (you are even able to select what spirit will be used for cocktails). The bartender will make your drinks and send a notification to your phone letting you know your drinks are ready. Hang out with your friends until you get the notification, show the bartender your order ID and voila, you have your drink without having to wait awkwardly at the busy bar. Payment is competed through your Coaster profile and tipping is included - so you never have to worry about carrying cash or closing a tab. Coaster is free to download through the iTunes AppStore and Android is on the way! After downloading, all you need to do is create a simple profile and you are ready to start ordering. "Stop waiting. Start Coasting."
