Contemporary Jewish Museum presents:

Modern Jewish Minimalists: SF Conservatory of Music performs Steve Reich and Philip Glass

Thursday, October 19, 6:45pm-7:45pm, San Francisco


In conjunction with the exhibition "The 613" by Archie Rand, contemporary classical musicians perform works by twentieth-century Jewish minimalist composers. The concerts take place in the galleries among the paintings. Students from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music perform Reich's New York Counterpoint and Philp Glass' Music in Similar Motion and other selections.
