Resources & Tools for Addressing Anti-Semitism, Intolerance & Bias

In the wake of Charlottesville, and in response to the J Weekly article about rising anti-Semitism in Bay Area schools, the Osher Marin JCC and the Jewish Community Relations Council is pleased to announce a program designed to provide parents with the tools and resources to be advocates, resources and proactive partners in addressing challenges facing school age children and schools in Marin.

The program will inlcude a panel featuring:
- Michael Watenpaugh (Superintendent, San Rafael Schools)
- Jacqueline Regev (Director of Education, Anti-Defamation League Central Pacific Region)
- Paula Simon, COnsultant, JCRC

Following the panel, breakout groups will address specific issues including responding to anti-Semitism, and How to Advocate for Your Jewish Student and Being a Jewish Goodwill Ambassador in Your Community.

Parents will leave with a toolkit of resources, articles and strategies.
