The World of Gyorgy Ligeti

Join us on March 17 and 18 for Bard Music West's inaugural festival, The World of Gyorgy Ligeti, and explore the eclectic music and influences of the brilliant Hungarian composer whose revolutionary works became famous through the films of Stanley Kubrick. Encounter Transylvanian folk music, absurdist theater, monumental choral works, a world premiere, and some of Ligeti's most stunning compositions, including his dazzling piano etudes.

The full festival pass gives access to all three programs, which feature over 30 world class artists from the Bay Area and around the world, plus a pre-concert talk.

Terry Riley: Keyboard Study No. 2 for solo piano
