Telecom Council of Silicon Valley presents:

ComTech Forum: The Latest in VR and AR

Thursday, March 23, 8:30am-1:00pm, Sunnyvale

The ComTech Forum meets this month on VR & AR together with 100+ members, telcos, vendors and startups to discover the fun and interesting opportunities presented by modern visual technologies. These Deep Dive meetings are short, packed, interactive discussions with top-notch networking.

We look at a lot of important technologies every year at the ComTech Forum, but some are just plain FUN. AR and VR are fun because of the technology's role in gaming, and the transportive displacement we experience when we put on a pair of VR Goggles. VR has the potential to change the way we experience live events like sports, can take us to different places, and can put us in fictional universes.

We need to be ever-conscious of the data load AR and VR can put on a network, and the best technologies to manage, store, cache, and deliver these experiences at high resolutions and low latencies.

At the ComTech meeting on AR and VR, we'll look at current developments and business opportunities in the space, try out some demos, and meet some of the players.
