The 826 National 101 Seminar

"101 Uses for Mermaid Bait, Unicorn Tears, & Grappling Hooks a.k.a. Launching Your Community-Based Nonprofit Organization"

Are you thinking about launching your own nonprofit arts organization that inspires young people in your community? Are you interested in learning about how 826 does what it does?

Led by 826 National's staff, the 101 Seminar is two days of engaging workshops and comprehensive presentations designed to help you build your own community organization.

You'll learn about nonprofit management, fundraising, recruiting and managing volunteers, engaging community partners, project-based learning, and creating innovative programs.

And, you'll meet other educators, activists, nonprofit visionaries, and supporters of 826 National from around the globe.

Come join us on October 11 and 12 for the next 101 Seminar at our founding chapter, 826 Valencia in San Francisco. The seminar takes place on Friday from 9:30am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9am to 3pm. The $500 registration fee includes lunch for both days, a cocktail hour on Friday evening, breakfast on Saturday, and take home materials.
