San Francisco has a diverse disco scene that often crosses over but not often enough! The goal of Go BANG! is to bring the crews and their devoted dancers together in a mixed, diverse, exciting environment, with a nod to the diversity and freedom of the 70's/80's San Francisco/New York/Chicago disco nightlife!

Disco freaks, art school boys & girls, drag queens & kings, boogie-heads, fierce dancers, flashy dressers, sexy girls, hot boys, DJs, dancers, photographers, artists, fashionistas; gay/straight/bi/tri/whateva! Bring your flashiest, trashiest, classiest, sexiest, craziest style; but bring an open mind, big smile, and shoes that will allow you to dance from opening to last call! We will start with fire and end with fire!

Taking inspiration from the classic Dinosaur L. song, "Go BANG!":
"I wanna see all my friends at once
I'll do anything to get a chance to
Goooo BANG!"

**SPECIAL GUEST: DJ APT ONE (Philiadelphia, PA) | | |
DJ Apt One is and has been on the forefront of many important movements in dance music over the last ten years. With his signature funk-influenced style, he has left his mark across the musical spectrum. He was a part of the multi-genre style of DJing that catapulted his adopted Philadelphia to the pinnacle of the DJ world in the early 2000s. His years of seasoning as a DJ have seen him play all styles imaginable all across the US and Europe. He is an internationally renowned disco edit-maker, appearing on compilations alongside the likes of Todd Terje and Tom Moulton. He is also is one of the OGs of “Moombahton” – the polyglot global EDM movement that saw DJ Apt One find fame on the BBC, NPR and elsewhere. He is also a founder and executive of Young Robots Records. He is good friends with one of our Philadelphia Disco Sisters Shawn Ryan, and we are as exicted as he is about his debuting at Go BANG! with some of his favorite DISCO tracks!

A Go BANG! Founding Father and consummate 80's child, DJ Eddy Bauer is committed to sharing rarities and celebrating classics. Since claiming Oakland as his home 10 years ago, he has crafted a reputation for diverse party-crushing sets that run the gamut of Rap, Disco, Boogie, Soul, and Electronic. He has played venues all around the Bay Area, from Go BANG! and Sweater Funk, to all-night Rap and House parties in Oakland. His re-edits and mixes have been featured on blogs such as Dollar Bin Jams and Props, and he also wears a handsome mustache. He was one of Sergio Fedasz's favorite KALX Radio DJ Friends, and he & Sergio made an edit together (Sergio's first ever with anyone) which is a fan favorite! ! Eddy Bauer is one of those soft spoken and modest, reclusive and mysterious, yet super-talented and warm people who you can't help but love! We can't wait for you to dance to him again!
