Golden Gate University hosts a FREE SALT (State & Local Tax) Symposium on September 25th.

Guest speakers include:

Michael Herbert, BS, JD, CPA. A partner at PwC, Herbert will discuss his work on Gillette vs. Franchise Tax Board, one of the most significant recent cases in the SALT arena.

Matthew Mandel, LLM, JD, MBA. Also a PwC partner, Mandel will explore tax traps and the complexity of new rules dealing with market-based sourcing.

Fiona Ma, GGU alumna (MS 93), a CPA, a candidate for the state Board of Equalization and the former speaker of the California Assemply.
