Don’t miss this free morning of fun under the sun for all young busy bees and their families in celebration of National Pollinator Week! The Conservatory of Flowers and Pollinator Partnership offer families with young children a chance to pot their own zucchini plant to take home, see the many kinds of foods we eat that are the result of pollination, examine a demonstration beehive courtesy of the SF Bee Keepers Association, receive their own butterfly temporary tattoo and more. Families can also step inside the Conservatory to get eye to eye with hundreds of living butterflies in the new exhibit “Butterflies and Blooms.” It’s a fascinating demonstration of plant pollination in action!
