About This Deal

Though we can't say we buy into the whole end-of-days-in-2012 thing, we would nonetheless like to please the Mayan gods just in case because we have a feeling 2013 is going to be where its at. Rediscover favorite Mexican eats at the Mayan-oriented Kuuup. Because a restaurant that has three U's in its name must be good, dine for less with today's deal of $20 worth of food and drink for just $10.

Conceptualized by the owners of Taqueria El Castillito, Kuuup features original Mexican Mayan cuisine like the fare you would find in Yucatan or Cancun including handmade tortillas and signature Mayan annatto seasoning. House specialties include the panuchos, impressive tacos, empanadas, escabeche and salbutes. Though this joint is brand new, Kuuup has already garnered a couple great reviews on Yelp like Pinqi F.'s claim that they make the best pork panucho in San Francisco and Lukas B.s review that commends the "friendly service and delicious, fresh-tasting food," especially the tacos, which had "surprisingly subtle touches like avocado, using sweet red onion instead of white, and adding a little bit of lettuce for crunch."

Kuuup is located in the Mission between 16th and 17th. Get your fill of authentic Mayan delicacies before the calendar runs out with the delicious offerings of the new kid on the block, Kuuup Mexican Mayan Cuisine.
